We will be meeting at "The Boardroom" upstairs at Water Street Market Building (old Seafood Co.)


There will also be a virtual option (via zoom) that will begin just before 12:00pm for those that are unable to join us in person.  Please note that we will not be recording to distribute to registrants, so plan to join us live for the presentation that day if you choose the virtual option.

        About the Speaker:

        Norma Lozano, Sr. Immigration Coordinator

        Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi

        Norma Lozano is the Sr. HR Immigration Coordinator at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. She began her career in the immigration field as Paralegal with an Austin immigration law firm in 1986 as the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (Amnesty) was being implemented.  In 1995, she moved on to the High-Tech industry where she worked as a Sr. Immigration Paralegal in the law department of a multinational corporation, moving key personnel into the U.S. and around the globe for business and employment. Since 2008 she has freelanced providing Immigration Paralegal Services to attorneys, both solo practitioners and law firms on immigration issues.  She joined the Human Resources Team at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in 2010.  As a native of Corpus Christi, she loves being back in the Coastal Bend and loves working at the Island University.
