Session Description:
Despite spending much of the past two years in a “virtual” world, the predominance of workplace romances has increased over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to one survey, 25% of U.S. employees either began a new workplace romance during the pandemic or continued an existing workplace romance that began prior to the pandemic. This session will review the practical and legal implications associated with office romances, discuss recent legal developments, and provide guidance for lessening the organizational impact of consensual relationships, encouraging self-disclosure by employees of these relationships, and minimizing legal exposure when those relationships fail.
This program is pending approval for PDC/Credit with SHRM & HRCI
